LONDON DINNER

NEW ZEALANDER GIVES MAIN TOAST PA AUCKLAND, Jan. 14. Great interest by the British people in New Zealand was noted by Mr N. R. Chapman, secretary. of the Auckland Milk Board and president of the New Zealand branch of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries, who returned to-day after a visit to Britain. Mr Chapman was the New Zealand representative at the annual dinner of the institute held at the Guildhall and proposed the health of the Lord Mayor and corporation of the City of London, the first toast of the evening. It was decided last year by the institute to invite a representative each year from the dominions and New Zealand was the first chosen.
