PENSION FOR 39 YEARS

A 100-year-old former school teacher from the New South Wales Education Department has been receiving a pension for 39 years—since his retirement in 1909; He is Vessey John Hine, of Wyong, NSW. A native of Devon, England, Mr Hine has never been ill except for colds, still leads a fairly active life, and still enjoys a glass of wine.
