GOOD FIELDS CARDED FOR OHINEMURI MEETING
Special to the Daily Times AUCKLAND, Dec. 16. The weather has been fine to-day, and the course at Paeroa promises to be fast for the Ohinemuri Jockey Club’s summer meeting on Saturday. The fields are good, and provision has been made for divisions In the Turua Hack Hurdles, the Karangahake Handicap, the Waihi Stakes, and the Netherton Plate. Horses likely to be well fancied include:— 10.45: Turua Hack Hurdles. First division; Te Ark, Battle Royal, College Boy. Second division: Forest Ranger. Tote Odds, Little Duke. 11.35: Karangahake Handicap. First division: Gay Cushla, Lady Zenib, Master Waimai. Second division: Theiolett, Boy Blue, My Beau. 12.25: Waihi Stakes.—First division: Patuone, Knight Armohr, Leon Fox. Second division: Hinui, Reveltide, Town Hero. 1.15: Netherton Plate.—First division: Nectarina, Lord Frank, Roiho. Second division: Shahrazade, Ileno, Work of Art. 2.5: Hauraki Cup.—King’s Ransom, Conspiracy, Frances. 2.55: Henry Bush Memorial Hack Cup. —Gollen, Sir Vite, Freezing Point. 3.50: Shaw Handicap.
