DEPARTMENTAL STORES BEING SET UP OVERSEAS BY BRITISH GOVERNMENT
Rec. 9.15 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 15. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Sir Stafford Cripps, told the House' of Commons that the Government is to spend £ 187,500 in the ‘ current financial year on setting up departmental stores in various countries overseas to promote the sale of British goods.
