St. John Ambulance.—During the month the St. John Ambulance attended 17 removals, 3 accidents and travelled 464 miles. _ ~ Motor Licences.—During October the Oamaru Borough Council issued 42 drivers’ licences and two heavy traffic licences. The figures for the Waitaki County Council were 44 and 10 respectively. Vital Statistics.—There were 38 births. 14 marriages and 19 deaths in Oamaru during October.
