DOG TRIALS

New Club for Oamaru A well-attended meeting of dog trial enthusiasts was held in Oamaru recently for the purpose of discussing the formation of a new collie dog trial club. All agreed that North Otago could support such a club, and, as a substantial outlay would be entailed, it was agreed that a canvass of the district should be made to ascertain what support would be forlhcoming. A committee was formed with a member from each locality to canvass his district-and report back to another meeting. Mr Murray Mead, 18D, R.D., Oamaru, was appointed honorary secretary.
