FORTY-THREE ACCEPTORS IN MELBOURNE CUP
N.Z.P.A—Copyright Rec. 9 p.m. MELBOURNE, Oct. 28. Forty-three horses have accepted for the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday. If insufficient scratchings are received before 8 p.m. on Saturday a ballot will be conducted to reduce the field to the safety limit of 35. The acceptances are:— MELBOURNE CUP
