CLUB RUNS

Baptist Club.—From Tomahawk three packs ran to Smalll’s Beach, along the coast to Sandfly Bay, around the wireless mast, and down the Centre road. M. A. Alliss and I. Craig were prominent in the run home.

Leith Club.—The Club ran from NorthEast Valley as the guests of the patron, the Rev. Curzon-Siggers. On the Main North road three packs were formed, and the colts ran up Bethune’s Gully, across to Campbell road, and then home. The juniors had a slow run up Signal Hill and home through Opoho, running back from the Gardens Corner. The road pack ran past Brown House to Sawyers’ Bay, and home past Logan Park. Runs home resulted:—Colts: C. Donaldson 1, J. McLean 2, G. Stickman 3. Juniors: D. Smith 1, P. Boag 2, J. Sprague 3. Road pack: D. A. Forbes 1. N. Arthur 2, D. Arthur 3.

St. Hilda Club.—The club held an enjoyable morning run from the St. Kilda Bathing Pavilion to Tunnel Beach and return, with a run home along Victoria road. Results were:—A. Miles 1, L. J. Rayner and T. Currie (equal) 2.

Anglican Club.—The club ran from Caversham up to Corstorphine road and down to Concord, and then up Blackhead road. The fast pack, under the captain, G. K. Armstrong, put in some good road work, R. Buckley and N. Barkman showing food form. The medium pack covered the same territory, J. Broomhead, I. McAllan and K. Pedofski being the leaders. Celtic United Club.—The club run began from Forbury Corner, and one pack of seniors and juniors was formed. The trail led over the Blackhead area and return. H. Gray and N. Lynch were prominent. The colts covered the same territory, and W. King, L. Tucker and J. Devlin were leaders. Mornington Club.—The run began from the St. Clair Surf Pavilion, and the road pack covered a course of about eight miles past Tahuna and along the Portobello road,' returning home along Macandrew and Forbury roads. The remainder of the club ran along the beach to St. Kilda, over the golf links to Tomahawk, and home along Lovers’ lane. The run home resulted:—M. Richards 1, A. Henry 2, G. McDonald 3.
