TILE DRAINAGE

SCHEME FOR TRENTHAM TRACK Special to the Daily Times WELLINGTON, Aug. 4. Portions of the course proper at Trentham - are to be extensively tile drained, and. a start has already been made at the straight entrance. It is expected that this section, in which 1400 feet of drains will be put down, will be completed in three weeks. It is hoped that the section of the track in front of the birdcage will also be drained before the spring meeting in October. After that meeting other weaknesses in the track will be eradicated.
