ST. KILDA “NOT INTERESTED” No action was taken by the St. Kilda Borough Council when it considered last night a letter from the Dunedin City Corporation concerning town-planning. The letter quoted the two resolutions passed at. a meeting of local bodies and representative c.tizens, suggesting the preparation of a scheme and the formation of. a joint committee. "I move that the letter be received, said Cr T. D. B. Roy. "It does not interest us. We have enough town-plan-ning to do ourselves.” The letter was received without further comment. Protest Meetings The council decided to receive a ’.et'ter from the South Island Local Bodies’ Association urging* public protest . meetings to advance claims lor the South Island.
