Below Allocation P.A. WELLINGTON, June 8. Electricity used last week in both the North and South Islands was below the allocations fixed by the State Hydro-electric Department. Consumption in the North Island amounted to 32,261,000 units, which was 505,000 units, or 1.55 per cent, below the allocation of 32,766,000 units, and in the South Island, 13,267,000 units were used' of an allocation of 13,617,000 units. This was a saving of 347,000 units, or 2.54 per cent, on the allocation.
