ARMY MEDICAL TRAINING

The Otago Hospital Board decided last night to admit medical officers serving in the armed forces as house surgeons at' the Public Hospital at the rate of three at a time, and for periods of two months each. The board was asked by the department of Health to consider the proposal. It was stated that the men would be paid by the branch of the service in which they were serving, and would be additional to those employed by the board.
