DRAGOMAN AT ADDINGTON
Favourite for Principal Event
BELMONT HALL A PROSPECT
The interest of trotting enthusiasts will be centred on the Canterbury Park Trotting Club’s meeting at Addington to-morrow, and the improving trotters and pacers engaged in the various events should provide splendid racing. Several of the horses who will line up to-mor-row were raced at the Auckland and Wellington meetings, and the form they showed there will, no doubt, be reflected in the support they are given on the totalisator. Dragoman was not started at either of these meetings, but those who saw him at Forbury Park are likely to respect his chance to-mor-row. He may dispute favouritism with Maudeen and Lone Raider. With outsize fields in all the events, winners will not be easy to locate but the following may be in favour:— 10.45: Addington Handicap. —Pay Boy, Frances Grattan, Wilbur Shaw. 11.28: Peninsula Handicap. —Attack, Gay Piper, Hall Ace. 1 . 12.13: Juvenile Handicap. —Chamfer-Scottish Nurse bracket, Vigilant, Merrymaker.
12.58:.Winter Handicap. —Dragoman, Lone Raider, Maudeen. 1.43: Ellesmere Handicap. —Belmont Hall, On Approval, Goldina. 2.28: Elevation Handicap. —Java, Bingendale, Swanee River. 3.13: Fendalton Handicap.— Make Believe, Scottish Brogue, Magnificent.
3.58: Final Handicap. —Congo Song, Coral Princess, Bel Hamed
