HUMIC COMPOST SOCIETY
At the annual meeting of the Otago branch of the New Zealand Humic Compost Society Mr I. Sutherland presided over a fair attendance of members. The election of office-bearers resulted: —President, Mr F. 'C. Cooper; vice-president, Mr I. Sutherland; secretary, Mr J. H Henderson; treasurer, Mr E. Dudley: committee—Messrs Crawford, Duncan, Dow sett. Paton, Mrs Paton and Miss McEvoy. Mr Cooper addressed members on the conference which was recently held in Wellington and described some of the proposed activities of the society.
