Arab League Rejects Order

Rec. 1.20 a.m. LONDON, May 26. The Associated Press correspondent in Amman says it is authoritatively reported that the Arab League has rejected the cease-fire order, mainly on the ground that the Arab Powers* could not enter into diplomatic involvements which would maintain the Jewish State’s existence. It is stated that no compromise was possible on the question of Israel.
