AUTOMATICALLY DEBARRED

COMMUNISTS AND AIR FORCE ASSOCIATION P.A. AUCKLAND, May 25. Communists are to be excluded from membership of the Air Force Association by a decision of the executive of that body, which has a membership of 7000 throughout New Zealand. This move follows a remit from the Auckland branch, sponsored by Mr L. W. Austin, who to-day released a memorandum from the. Dominion secretary, Mr F. A. Davis, of Wellington. “The Dominion Executive has ruled,” the memorandum states, “ that under the constitution of the association membei-s are required to subscribe to loyalty to the Sovereign and the British Commonwealth of Nations, and it has unanimously agreed that Communists must, therefore,, automatically debar themselves from membership.”
