CO-OPERATION IN MEDICINE SCHEME REFUSED

FIRM STAND BY QUEENSLAND N.Z.P.A.—Copyright BRISBANE, May 22. The Queensland branch of the British Medical Association has refused to co-operate in the Federal free medicine plan scheduled to , begin next month. The decision means that the free medicine scheme cannot be implemented in its present form in Queensland. No Queensland doctors would accept delivery of the registered packets containing' the formulary- for use under the scheme. In Canberra it is stated that the Government would go ahead with its free medicine scheme in spite of any opposition from the B.M.A.
