& Rec. 11 p.m. SHANGHAI, May 24. Seven Chinese engineers from Fukien Province will leave shortly for New Zealand for a practical training course, according to the Official Central News. The group is being sent under the newly-concluded agreement with New Zealand which will pay for the workshop expenses of the engineers. Their stay in New Zealand will be for a period of one or two years. A Press Association mesage from Wellington states that official circles confirmed the Shanghai report adding that arrangements for the scheme were set in train some months ago. It was to enable the Chinese to obtain practical experience in New Zealand of modern workshop practice and modem machinery, opportunities for which were very limited in China.
