SNOOKER TOURNAMENT
The second round of the qualifying grade snooker conducted by the Otago Amateur Billiards Association was begun last night. Results:—W. Donaldfon beat W. Hanlin 2-0. D. Napper beat A. Ufland 2-0, G. McGrath beat J. Kilpatrick 2—l. The round will be completed to-night when J. M. Pettit will play G. M. Linn at 7 o’clock. The semi-finals will also be played, the first being between W. Donaldson and D Napper at 8 o’clock and the other semi-final G. McGrath will meet the winner of the Pettit v. Linn’ game, at 9 o’clock. ’ . :
