FEDERATED FARMERS’ RESOLUTION

A resolution supporting the appeal for the starving children of the world was passed by a meeting of the Subprovincial Executive of Federated Farmers in Dunedin yesterday. The resolution strongly urged farmers and all other persons to support the appeal. Various speakers said that they had heard the Minister, Mr Nash, and Major-general H. K. Kippenberger explain the appeal and they were satisfied with the manner in which the appeal was being conducted and with the ways in which the fund was to be use to provide food and clothing for the children. Members of the subexecutive recognised the fact that immediate assistance, must be given these children.
