POWER SUPPLY AUTHORITIES’ CONFERENCE

Possibly the largest _ assembly of conference delegates to visit Dunedin during the centennial year will be seen when members-of 71 power supply authorities meet here in September. Authorities which are members of the Electric Power Boards and Supply Authorities’ Association of New Zealand will be represented by approximately 200 delegates, and the conference wiU be divided into two sections. The Engineers’ Institute and the Secretaries’ Association will confer as separate units, and will later combine to form the main conference. Registration to date shows that approximately 80 delegates will be accompanied by their wives, and in order to provide accommodation some ■22 Dunedin hotels have accepted reservations. This is the first time that Dunedin has been chosen as the conference centre for the Electric Power Boards and Supply Authorities’ Association.
