PRINCESS RETURNS

PARIS HOLIDAY ENDED

ENTHUSIASTIC CROWDS BID FAREWELL

LONDON. May 18. Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh arrived at London airport from Paris. Crowds in Paris cheered the royal couple as they drove from the British Embassy to Le Bourget airport, from where they left for London in a Viking airliner of the King's flight. Princess Elizabeth wore a brown suit trimmed with white, ana a hat of the same colours. She carried a bouquet df orchids. The Duke wore naval uniform. Reuter’s correspondent -says the Princess pleased Parisians, from statesmen to night club porters, with her attractive clothes, excellent French, and regal grace. It seemed impossible to over-empha-sise the pleasure the royal visit had given the Parisians, ancUthe French people generally, states a correspondent of The Times.
