SUPPLIES OF LAMP SPIRIT
In districts where electric power cuts are in force, steps have been taken to ensure that supplies of lighting spirit are made available to essential industrial consumers, hospitals and private homes that have no alternative form of heating or lighting. District oil fuel controllers have been instructed to assist in the matter. Limited supplies of white spirit are, however, available from retail stores.
