WEEK-END FIRES

Fire broke out in a crate of straw in the D.I.C. yard in Moray place yesterday the Central Fire Brigrdc receiving alarm at 10.22 a.m. No damage was caused. Central and South Dunedin machines answered a call at 5.54 a.m. to a fish shop in King Edward street, where a fat container had caught fire. At I.S p.m. yesterday the two brigades extinguished a gorse' fire at Waverley.
