POTATO SHIPMENTS
SUPPLIES FOR NORTH ISLAND P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, May 16. Christchurch merchants have been advised that the stay order on the shipment of potatoes to the North Island, as far as Auckland is concerned, will be lifted as from midnight on May 20, and in the case of other North Island ports as from midnight on Monday, May 31. Originally the restrictions were to have been removed on May 17.
