One Game Played Oamaru and Tainui drew in the Senior A Competition game played at King George’s Park on Saturday, Some good combined hockey was seen throughout the game, which was fairly even until about a quarter of an hour from the end, when play favoured Tainui. At half-time the score was: Oamaru 1, Tainui nil. Smith had scored for Oamaru. IC Duns evened the score well into the second half, and when the final whistle blew Tainui was attacking. Messrs Harris and Sherwin were the referees.
