Provision has been made to run three events in divisions, but this may be necessary only in the Tainui Hack Handicap, which is eight above the safety limit. In the Pukehou and Ohau Hack Handicaps only two scratchings are required to avoid divisions, and in each event there are several dual acceptors. Clare’s Pal is to contest the Pukehou Hack HandicStp, Alumnus the Tainui Hack Handicap, Silver Mascot the Waikanae Maiden No. 2, and Lord Theio the Ta Timi Kara Handicap. . „ . .
