NATIONAL DANCING
GREEN ISLAND COMPETITIONS Before a good attendance a programme of national dancing was held at the Green Island Competitions Festival last night. Results:— Highland Fling (under 12 years).— Heather Price 1, Kathleen Gamble 2, Elinor Fincham 3. Highland Fling (under 15).—Norma Taylor 1, Mary Weir 2, Helen Wheeler 3. Sword Dance (under 12 years).— Dorothy Milne 1, Cathrine Davidson 2, Fredrick Bridger 3. Sword Dance (under 15).—Norma Taylor 1. Mary Weir 2. Valerie Mussen 3. Irish Jig (under 12 years).—Marlene Crosland 1, Dorothy Milne 2, Joan Renton 3. Seann Triubhais (under 15).—Dawn Hurring 1, Helen Wheeler 2, Norma Taylor 3. Hornpipe (under 15 years).— Maureen Gutsell 1, Rachel Anderson 2, Helen Wheeler 3.
