LAKE COUNTY HISTORY
Sir,—The work of compiling the ‘regional history of Lake County is now well advanced and at this stage I would make an appeal to any of your readers who may be in possession <*£ letters, diaries or even recollections dealing with Wakatipu history to communicate with me as soon as possible. It is desired that the history should be a complete record and the value of any hitherto unpublished material giving an authentic picture of life in the early days in this district cannot be too strong emphasised.
