SECOND DAY AT TE RAPA Special to the Daily Times AUCKLAND, May 13. The weather has cleared to-day, and the outlook is favourable for the second day of the Waikato Racing Club’s winter meeting at Te Rapa on Saturday. If there is no ntore rain, the going will be holding. The favourites may include:—
11.0: Melville Hack and Hunters’ Steeples.—Uganda, Shepherd’s Ace, Bronze Light, 11.4& Otorohanga Hack Handicap.—First division: Dominie. Swift Robin, Horonui. Second division: Sunny’s Last, Thole. Silver Lap. 12.30: Seddon Hurdles.—Foxstar, Ernada, Joy Wind. 1.20: President’s Handicap. Sylis, Valley Boy, Conspiracy. 2.10: Waikato Steeplechase.—Hunting Dink, Master Meruit, Roman Lad. 3.0:-City Hack Handicap.—First division: Eurolie. Fearless Wings, Regal Chase.
