MOTOR CYCLIST’S ACCIDENT A head-on collision between two motor cyclists at a bend in the Main South road near the top of Saddle Hill about 7 o’clock on Saturday morning resulted in one rider suffering a compound fracture of the leg. He is Alan Hughes, of 13 Forfar street, Mosgiel. He was admitted to hospital soon after 9 a.m. No injuries were received by the rider of the other machine, John Clayton McGoun, of 46 Waimea avenue, Dunedin, or his pillion passenger. Both machines were badly damaged. Hughes, who was admitted to hospital, is on the seriously ill list.
