UNFIT FOR SALVAGE
GROUNDED STEAMER SOUTH OF NEWCASTLE SYDNEY, Mar. 12. The steamer Illalong, of 236 tons, which grounded south of Newcastle, has been adjudged unfit for salvage, and will be offered for sale as a wreck. The vessel is being pounded by a heavy swell and shows signs of breaking up. ■ ■ ■ ■
