EXPANSION OVERSEAS
AMERICAN FILM PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES Rec. 9 p.m. NEW YORK, Mar. 12. The New York Journal of Commerce says that according to leading motion picture executives, a radical change in the American film industry setup with the removal of a considerable part of film production activities to foreign countries, will result from the London agreement reached yesterday. It declares that American companies plan to expand production activities, particularly in England, and adds: “Leading companies have long been making plans for production activities, not only in England, but also in Australia, Western Europe, South America and elsewhere. A definite start on this expansion, however, has been deferred pending settlement of the dispute with Britain.”
