I PISH WIT IN MAIN EVENT Special to the Daily Times INVERCARGILL, Mar. 12. After a week of broken weather bright sunshine prevailed to-day and prospects are for fine weather for the Birchwood Hunt Club’s meeting at Invercargill tomorrow. The track will be on the easy side but will provide good going. With the approach of the Riverton Easter meeting most interest to-morrow will be shown in the form of the steeplechasers. Profiteer from the Birchwood Novice and Walcoe from the Kennells Handicap are the only definite scratchings announced so far. The form horses include: — 12.0: Hunter’s Flat.—Kassai, Peruslia. 12.40: Otautau Trot.—First division: Roseland Hall, Biddy's Pet, Parawa Derby. Second division: Great Hall, Paratrooper, Fabric Silk. 1.30: Birchwood Novice. —Red Money, Cover Drive, Goulash. 2.10: Gardner Memorial Steeplechase.— Irish Wit, First Out, Robert. 2.50: President's Handicap.—Loyal Lady, Black Light-Sea Flower bracket, Pride of Mossburn. 3.40: Wallace Saddle Trot.—True Dillon.
