Brackets Brackets at Oamaru to-day are:—Weston Trot: Chignon, Plausible and Arawa Lad; Gay Scott and Sirocco. Redcastle Trot: Achievement and Lumber Jack; Gay Scott and Sirocco; Guild Hall and Arawa Lad. Belmont Hall The Dunedin-owned pacer Belmont Hall was taken through to Christchurch yesterday and will compete on the second day of the Metropolitan meeting. Speed and Stamina In the Mood has speed and stamina and is reported to be in fine racing condition for her engagements at Addington. At the recent matinee meeting she won over a mile and five furlongs. Solid Stayer Monagh Leagh is a solid stayer and will see the two-mile journey of the Express Handicap at Addington to-day right out. He has been successful at Addington twice since New Year and is a very much improved pacer. Owned in Dunedin
V. Leeming’s representative in the two trotting events at Oamaru to-day will be Lustv Bingen, a four-year-old by Voltaire from Providence, owned by Mr J. M. Samson, of Dunedin. Freni Regina Logan
