WORLD TITLE BOUT
WALCOTT TO MEET LOUIS IN JUNE NEW YORK, Feb. 27. Jersey Joe Walcott announced that e had agreed to meet Joe Louis in a 5-round return heavy-weight title ght at Yankee Stadium'; New York, n June 23. Louis will receive 40 per ent. of all the net receipts. Walcott rill receive 20 per cent, of the ne.l ate radio, and ’Revision receipts, and 2' 2 per cent, of the newsreel receipts Sol Strauss, acting promoter for the 'wentieth Century Sporting Club, said D-day that if Joe Walcott beats Joe XDuis in the title bout in June, they rill meet in a third match in Septemer. Walcott formally signed to-day ar the June match.
