RESTRICTED TRIAL WORK. Special to the Daily Times CHRISTCHURCH. Feb. 24. Heavy rain during the night was of great benefit to the tracks at Riccarton. With so many horses absent at Wingatui, the work this morning was not exciting. Among the nominations received for the Bradley Stakes at Motugkarara next week are several who have not raced yet One of them is a Beau Repaire two-vear-old who has not even been named. He will race for Mr Scott Ramsay, and his dam, Palmyra, is by Paladin from Sweet Beauty, so he comes from a very successful family. , A. Cutts has Infatuate coming on well in her work in preparation for the Braa ley Stakes next week. She is a two-year-old by Defaulter from Bewitching, by Wild Chase from Miss Mimic, and she looks a likely sort to show some form S °A n E. L. McMullan and W. A. McMullan are working a four-year-old gelding that was bought by Mr L. W.
