KELLERMAN CUP

HARBOUR SWIMMING RACE There are 11 entrants for the Annette Kellerman. Cup harbour swim, which will be held over a three-mile course at Macandrew Bay on Friday, February 20, at 10.30 a.m., in conjunction with the New Zealand national swimming championships. The race will be controlled by officials of the Otago Swimming Centre, under the supervision of a former cup winner. Mr D. Reid. The North-East Harbour Boating Club has placed its facilities at the disposal of the centre, and its commodore, Mr H. Brown, will be boat superintendent, each competitor bipg accompanied by a dinghy. The handicapper, Mr C; Atkinson, of Napier, has declared the following handicaps for the race:—Miss M. Crancy (Parnell, Auckland) 26min, Miss P. Hastings (University, * Auckland) 26min, N. Belcher (South End, Timaru) 21min, K. Doubleday (Parnell, Auckland) 20min, D. O’Rourke (South End, Tlmaru) 15min, J. Flack (Hamilton) 15min, T. Pearson (Petone) 12min, G. P. Koca (Fitzroy, New Plymouth) llmin, F. S. Guzzwell (Ashburton East) 7min, W. B. Milne (New Plymouth Old Boys) 4min, C. Kidd (Newmarket, Auckland) scr.
