NEW ZEALAND MAKES INQUIRIES Rec. 8 p.m. LQNDON, Jan. 1. The Times says the recent demand for ships to load coal at United Kingdom ports included inquiries from New Zealand —the first since the end of the war. Coal is to be loaded for New Zealand in the middle of January. Freight rates range from £3 to £3 10s a ton.
