LATE MR O’BRIEN

STATE FUNERAL ON THURSDAY P.A. GREYMOUTH, Sept. 29. The State funeral on Thursday morning here for Mr J. O’Brien will be attended by all members of Cabinet, a large number of Parliamentarians and other visitors, while a large influx from all the surrounding districts is expected. Major N. Wigram will represent the Governor-General. The casket will arrive to-morrow by train, resting on Wednesday evening in St. Patrick’s Church, where solemn Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. on Thursday will be celebrated by Monsignor J. Long.
