SOUVENIR TICKETS
“The slogan for the Centennial souvenir tickets is that for 1948 they are as important as your ration books,” commented the convener of the Publicity Committe, Mr M. S, Myers, when discussing the progress of the plans for next year with the Daily Times. He said that these tickets were important. not only for their intrinsic value as souvenirs and their cash value as complimentary tickets to the Amusement Park, but as an indication of an individual effort towards the centennial appeal by the holder. “We hope that everyone in Otago will get one,” Mr Myers added..
