Methcen T.C Jottings Red Hussar will be bracketed with Mistydale in the Avon Handicap at Addington. Haughty is assessed on 2.5, 2.39, 4.17, and Emulous on 2.7, 2.41, 4.19. Sister to Kildonnin Teviot Maid, the sister to Kildonnin, was among the arrivals at Wingatui yesterday. She will be driven in the Brockville Trot to-morrow by her owner Mr D. Gordon. A Bracket Sir Peterson, who will be bracketed with All Ashore in the Brockville Trot, is one of T. H. Gunning’s team, and is a five-year-old gelding by Grattan Loyal from Ivy Peterson, by Rey de Oro from Lady Peterson, by Petereta. Profitless Season The Grattan Loyal mare Our Parade was unplaced in each of her 10 starts last season. She is now in the Christchurch stable of H. R. Walker, and is due to start in the Brockville Trot tomorrow.

Trained at Forbury Park Squire Dillon, who is engaged in the Brockville Trot, is trained by T. A. Greaney. He is a six-year-old gelding by Dillon Hall from Trelese, by Wellington Direct from Felice, by Matchlight from Quincey. He had four unplaced starts last season, when he was in R. Townley's stable. Darkie Grattan As a two-year-old, Darkie Grattan raced consistently for a win, four seconds and a third in eight starts, but last season she had only one start and was unplaced. By Grattan Loyal from Superb, she is now trained by H. R. Walker, who will race her at Wingatui to-morrow Earlier Form Good Melvian, a candidate for the Wingatui Trot, is a half-brother to Liberty Bond and Understudy. He did not win a race last season, but in 1945 he won the Winton Juvenile Stakes and finished second to Dragoman in the Wyndham Juvenile Stakes.
