PAKISTAN CONSTITUTION ORDER Rec. 8 p.m. KARACHI. Sept. 3. The Pakistan provisional Constitution order gazetted in Pakistan makes no reference to the King. Appointments, including those of the provincial governors and High Court judges, will be made by the Governor-Gene-ral, Mr Jinnah. not the King. Thus the Governor-General has full authority to act for the King. Judges or members of the Legislature will not swear allegiance to the Crown but to the Constitution of^Pakistan.
