HEAVY DEMAND
LABOUR FOR WELLINGTON WHARVES P.A. WELLINGTON, Sept. 4. During next week and possibly for a longer period exceptionally heavy demands are expected to be made on the available waterfront labour in Wellington. The Waterfront Industry Commission is making an urgent appeal for additional labour to ensure that the turn-round of ships will be effected with minimum delay as a factor in helping Britain.
