FOOD COUPON CAMPAIGN

Last week again showed a decline in the number of food coupons surrendered in North Otago, the average being only two coupons for every live households. The aim of the committee is to obtain at least two coupons from each household, and in this connection good work has been done in the past by the pupils of North Otago schools. Details of the coupons received last week were as follows:—Meat, 1939 (value £24 2s 9d): butter, 10 (51b).
