ACTION BY AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION The state of the Awamoko peek?r°ssing was commented upon at a meeting Automobile Association. (Norm Otago) on ™ day night. The chaifman, Mr A C. Taylor, who raised the sub Sect said that a motorist in endeavourng' to ford the stream had his car al- ‘ washed downstream by the force r the wafer and that an ambulance driver had a similar experience. It was agreed that the Waitaki Counts Council be written to, suggesting tha action be taken to have the crossing at tended to as soon as possible.
