meeting of sports bodies A meeting convened by the North Oamaru Citizens’ Association was held on Monday night, at which representatives of the Meadowbank Bowling and Tennis Clubs, Eveline Miniature Rifle Club, and other North End organisations decided to hold a carnival to raise funds for North End sports bodies. Mr W. R. Laney was appointed, chairman, Mr Holloway secretary, and Mr A. A. Stock treasurer.
