OLD GIRLS’ BALL •St. Philomena’s College Ex-Pupils’ Association held its annual ball in the Crawford Lounge. The matrons of honour were Mrs J Kennedy (black floral taffeta), Mrsi B. Davies (cherry velvet), Mrs C. Kerr, president (black crepe with French taffeta coatee), Mrs P. Walsh (floral taffeta with pink coatee), Mrs Francis (wine crepe), representing St. Dominic’s Ex-pupils’ Association, Mrs Henderson (plum embossed velvet), representing Columba College Ex-pupils’ Association, and Miss J. Lynch, representing St. Catherine’s Ex-pupils’ Association, Invercargill (blue crepe).
