TRAMS HELD UP
ELECTRIC POWER v FAILURE A failure in the supply of electric power at 4.24 p.m. yesterday was the cause of considerable inconvenience to workers and late shoppers travelling by tram. The tram service was held up for seven minutes, and coming at one of the busiest periods of the day, seriously upset the timetable. The cause of the failure could not be ascertained last niglit.
