DUE ON MONDAY PINEAPPLES DISTRIBUTED The YVaitaki, bringing Australian oranges, is now expected to reach Dunedin on Monday. It is almost 11 weeks since she last arrived with oranges. The market in the meantime has had only one small transhipment of oranges trom Wellington. Those interested are lioping that the present large shipment will 1)0 in good condition, as when repacking has to be done the quantity available to the public is cut down in proportion to the waste. There is no word of further shipments of bananas, but the Maui Pomare arrived .-it Auckland over a week ago, and it is possible that there may be a shipment on the way from the north. A small quantity of Australian pineapples, the fir<jt since last September, reached the market at the week-end, and were rationed-out to retailers.
